Guyana’s women picked their fourth point of the CAC Games Qualifier after battling to an uneventful goalless draw with Puerto Rico. Though Guyana had the bulk of the possessions and enjoyed the better run of play, poor decision making and a lack of penetrative passes into circle cost them the three points. The Guyanese are coming a six nil thrashing of Panama
The Puerto Ricans who were playing to their second goalless draw of the tournament looked threatening whenever number 16 Ayanna Champman was on the ball. Chapman marshalled the midfield for the Puerto Ricans and was involved in most of the team’s attacking play but could not find the break through.
Both teams will next be in action on Wednesday, Puerto Rico tackling Guatemala @ 10:30 and Guyana against Jamaica @12:30
